Now that you’ve created your Seven Stakes league it’s time to place your bets. Here’s your guide to make those picks:

Highest Scoring Game of the Sweet 16:

There’s two options here that make sense: Arkansas vs. Oral Roberts and Gonzaga vs. Creighton. Both games are expected to score into the high 150’s. I’ll go with Arkansas vs. Oral Roberts because I think there’s a legitimate shot Arkansas puts up 100 points on their own in this one.

The Pick: Arkansas vs. Oral Roberts (+150)

Lowest Scoring Game of Sweet 16:

This one is easy: Oregon State vs. Loyola Chicago. The total is the lowest on the board right now and it should be played at an incredibly slow pace.

The Pick: Loyola Chicago vs. Oregon State (+125)

Highest Scoring Player of the Sweet 16:

Welcome to the Jalen Suggs breakout game. I believe in a high scoring game like this one between Gonzaga and Creighton it is likely that one of Gonzaga’s big three will have at least 25 points. I think Suggs gets going in this one and is the focal point of the offense.

The Pick: Jalen Suggs, Gonzaga (+750)

Pick One Team To Reach The Final Four:

Gonzaga and Houston are the easiest picks to make it through to the Final Four and I’ll go with the safest pick, which is Gonzaga.

The Pick: Gonzaga (+100)

How Many One Seeds Will Reach The Final Four:

There are three 1 seeds left in the tournament: Gonzaga, Michigan and Baylor. It’s probably safe to assume at least one will make it to the Final Four, but the odds on favorite is two teams making it through.

The Pick: 2 (+100)

How Pac-12 Teams Will Reach The Final Four:

The Pac-12 has dominated the 2021 NCAA Tournament, which is a shock to just about anyone. Four teams – USC, Oregon, UCLA and Oregon State – have a shot to go to the Final Four and the league is guaranteed at least one spot in the Elite 8 because Oregon plays USC.

The group of four doesn’t have a clear path to the Final Four. Oregon or USC will have to go through Gonzaga, Oregon State would have to knock off Loyola Chicago and Houston, while UCLA would have to take out 2 seed Alabama and either Michigan or Florida State.

The smart pick is probably 0 teams; however, a 7 seed or higher has reached the Final Four in each of the last 9 tournaments. I’m going to take the higher odds and put one Pac-2 team through. My hunch is it’s going to have to be the winner of the USC Oregon game taking out Gonzaga.

The Pick: 1 (+500)

Will There Be Any Buzzer Beater in the Sweet 16 or Elite 8:

We have to see a legitimate buzzer beater at some point in this tournament, right?!

The Pick: Yes (+750)
