Champions Round “JUICE” Projections

2021 Expected Record: 8-9
2021 Expected Points Per Game: 23.7

2021 Expected Points Allowed Per Game: 24.9

QB

Jalen Hurts - Rank: QB8
JUICE Projections: 336-610 Passing, 55% Completion, 3791 Passing Yds., 24 TD, 15 INT; 767 Rushing Yds, 6 Rush TD

Hurts had some incredible weeks last year when he was given the starting job. Even with his low completion percentage, his legs still carried him to viable fantasy production. A year under his belt and a full offseason in the new offensive system as QB1 has been a boon to Hurts. He has Konami potential and if he can improve his accuracy he will creep into the top 10 fantasy QBs.

RB

Miles Sanders - Rank: RB15
JUICE Projections: 183 carries, 878 Rushing Yds, 9 Rush TD; 49 receptions, 383 Receiving Yds, 2 Rec. TD

Miles Sanders produced a solid year in 2020 but fell short of expectations. His receiving numbers were down across the board and the offensive line injuries hurt his overall production. He returns as the lead back this year, and with health along the line, should eclipse 1000 yards. There is some concern about Hurts potentially stealing some goal-line carries and rushing opportunities, but there should be more than enough work for Sanders to outperform his ADP.

Kenneth Gainwell - Rank: RB65
JUICE Projections: 78 carries, 356 Rushing Yds, 3 Rush TD; 13 receptions, 91 Receiving Yds, 1 Rec. TD

Gainwell comes in from a long line of quality running backs from the University of Memphis. He should supplant Boston Scott as the primary backup/change of pace back in relatively short order. He has the vision and receiving chops to become a great handcuff in case Miles Sanders misses any time. Gainwell should be taken in the last 2 or 3 rounds of a draft, as he is well worth a lottery ticket, especially in PPR.

WR

DeVonta Smith - Rank: WR37
JUICE Projections: 53 receptions, 752 Receiving Yds, 6 Rec. TD

Smith is going to get targeted early and often. He is the undisputed best wideout on this team, has a previous connection with the starting QB, and comes in with an outstanding pedigree. He should approach 1000 yards this year pretty easily. His route running is elite, and he should put up at least WR3 numbers with the upside for much more.

Jalen Reagor - Rank: WR69
JUICE Projections: 38 receptions, 539 Receiving Yds, 4 Rec. TD

Reagor assumes the number 2 wideout role with the drafting of Smith, and he should be improved over his somewhat lost season last year. Reagor disappointed in his debut season last year, but the new coaching staff has taken it upon themselves to coach up Reagor to unlock his first-round potential. Look for him to be 3rd in line for targets this season, and should be a low-end flex play.

Quez Watkins - Rank: WR93
JUICE Projections: 35 receptions, 476 Receiving Yds, 3 Rec. TD

Watkins winning the slot receiver role gives him some best ball potential. He is the fastest receiver on the team, and that will display on the field. He won’t be receiving the kind of target share needed for consistent fantasy points but will have some boom weeks.

Greg Ward Jr. - Rank: WR124
JUICE Projections: 24 receptions, 266 Receiving Yds, 1 Rec. TD

The elevation of Quez Watkins to the starting lineup has destroyed any fantasy upside Ward has. Safe drop in all leagues.

TE

Dallas Goedert - Rank: TE10
JUICE Projections: 54 receptions, 614 Receiving Yds, 5 Rec. TD

Zach Ertz - Rank: TE19
JUICE Projections: 30 receptions, 354 Receiving Yds, 2 Rec. TD

Goedert was in line to be a stud as the undisputed TE1 for the Eagles. The Ertz trade the Eagles wanted never materialized, and he has returned to the fold. This puts a cap on Goederts ceiling as of right now, but he should still be in the running for a Top 7 fantasy season.

TL;DR 2021 Philadelphia Eagles

  • If Jalen Hurts can improve his accuracy he will creep into the top 10 fantasy QBs.
  • Devonta Smith should approach 1000 yards this year pretty easily.
  • There should be more than enough work for Miles Sanders to outperform his ADP.
  • Goedert’s ceiling is limited by Ertz.
